Barrel Tasting

Join Winemaker Kareem Massoud in Paumanok’s barrel cellar to taste the 2024 vintage red wines from barrel. We will also be pouring samples from large format bottles from older vintages. The barrel tasting will be held on Saturday & Sunday, the first three weekends in November. The maximum number of guests per barrel tasting session will be limited to 12 people.

Case futures will be offered on the wines tasted from barrel. A futures contract is a purchase of wine by the case at a significant discount to the projected retail price with pick up at a future date (once the wine is bottled, usually about six to eight months later). Large format bottles will be available to purchase and take home with you.

We will be using large crystal glasses to taste the wines, which will be accompanied by an assortment of fine cheeses, breads and pâté. There is a $50/person fee to attend. This fee will be credited toward your purchase if you purchase 2024 vintage futures.

If you are unable to attend this event, but would still like to take advantage of case futures, details regarding the 2024 growing season, descriptions of the 2024 vintage wines, and future case prices will be available at the time of the barrel tasting and can be emailed to you. Should you choose to purchase futures, you will be notified once all of the 2024 red wines have been bottled and you will be able to pick up your order after that time.
