Some Like it Hot, We Keep it Cool: The Red Wine Edition

Winemakers will often say “Great wine starts in the vineyard.” Can both a vineyard in the cool climate of the North Fork and a vineyard in a hotter climate both make great wine? Come find out! In this session, we’ll taste the same varietal from both a cool and warm climate and explore the differences that climate and terroir can impart on the grape.

In this 90 minute comparative tasting wine class we will compare Suhru’s cool climate red wines to some of its hot climate friends. Taste 3 different red wine (6 wines total), each from both a cool and warm climate and explore the differences that climate and terroir can impart on the grape.
