Sparkling Pointe encompasses 40 acres of vineyards planted only with the classic Champagne grape varietals—Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. Using strictly the traditional Méthode Champenoise process, Sparkling Pointe is the only winery on the North Fork to produce exclusively sparkling wines.
The state of the art winery is designed and maintained by French born winemaker Gilles Martin, formerly of Champagne’s famed Deutz and Roederer Estates, who boasts a prestigious Masters of Oenology from the University of Montpellier. Gilles expertise is renowned in the region, crafting wines that age from 2 to 8 years on fine yeast lees, blended to perfection, showcasing extreme finesse and style.
The Sparkling Pointe tasting experience is a showcase of prestige, artistry, and finesse combined with festiveness and just the right amount of savoir-faire. Earning coveted 90+ point scores from Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator, Sparkling Pointe wines are consistently acknowledged as some of the best in the region.
The wines are featured at the Grand Tasting House where guided, educational tastings are conducted daily. Sparkling Pointe is one of the few wineries where you can sit, relax, and enjoy table service inside the elegant Tasting House, VIP Bubble Room Lounge, or outside on the Terrace and great lawn overlooking exquisite views of the vineyard.
Adding to the experience, the Tasting House is adorned with opulent crystal chandeliers, high ceilings, and plenty of natural light. In delightful contrast, bright Brazilian artwork and influence can be found throughout to honor owners Tom and Cynthia Rosicki's love and passion for the Brazilian culture, which also features prominently on the Cuvée Carnaval Sparkling wine labels.
