Jan. 05, 2016| LIWC

Three Long Island producers kicked-off the new year with 90+ scores from the Wine Enthusiast.

Anthony Nappa, who’s 2013 The Savage Cabernet Sauvignon and 2014 Bordo Cabernet Franc earned a score of 92 as well as “editor’s choice” in the December issue was also awarded a 91 for his 2013 Tredici Red and a 90 for the Raphael 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon. “Long Island is not typically known for Cabernet Sauvignon, but in the hands of winemaker Anthony Nappa (who also crafts excellent Cabs at Raphael), the variety shows remarkable promise.”

He was joined by Channing Daughters who’s 2013 Mosaico White and 2013 Sylvanus White earned 91 and 90 points.
