ABOUT TRUE ELIZABETH
True Elizabeth is a North Fork floral designer who specializes in casually elegant bouquets. Her arrangements combine seasonal blooms from local flower farmers, materials foraged from the countryside, and flowers further afield. Each one aims to combine whimsy sophistication and style, through texture, movement and interest. True Elizabeth can be found at local pop-ups, notably Chronicle Wines and White Flower Farmhouse, and is available for weddings & events year-round. Most recently, her work was featured in the November 2021 issue of the Northforker. @trueelizabethdesigns
ABOUT RUSTIC ROOTS & RECIPES
My name is Jess, I grew up in Southold NY on the North Fork of Long Island. I am a self-taught chef, using our local bounty to inspire the food I cook. I believe that a meal should be a gathering, an intimate collection of people you choose to be around, a love story through food. I’ve been a big part of my community for several years, one of the founders of North Fork Roasting Co., competitor on Food Network’s Chopped, cooking demos at local high schools, and for the past five or so years solo with Rustic Roots and Recipes, being a private chef is what has brought me the most joy during this process we call life. I think it’s the connection of people through food where I really get to know my guests and create their stories for the evening.
